Oh What A Year!
It has been an exciting year for me. I was asked to design a pattern for the “Here’s Looking At You Gene” magazine for Gene’s Final convention; Celebrating the final production year of Gene and her friends. My Patterns have been sent all over the world from New Zealand to New York! I was asked to speak to the Western New York Chapter of the UFDC . An article on my presentation is in the 2011 Summer Issue of "Doll News" the UFDC's Publication.
The most exciting thing to happen was my attendance at this year’s 20th Anniversary Tonner convention. I was so Pleased my designs were well accepted and I won 3 first prizes, a second prize and a third prize. Needless to say I am on top of the world!
It has been a busy year and promises to get more hectic. Now, a New Website!! one that promises to be an exciting communication tool with YOU my friends in the doll world. I am running this myself now so I hope to get to add new material on a regular basis
I thought I’d share some photos of the things that have happened to me and to celebrate! First A gift to you all! I am including here my “Blue Moon” Pattern for Gene created for Gene’s final convention. I hope you all enjoy it and can use it to create a new Spring Look for your Gene dolls!
